Melissa Krieser is a 2015 graduate from Concordia University Wisconsin with majors in Lutheran Secondary Education and Broad-field Science, with an emphasis in physical science.
Ever since she can remember, she wanted to be a teacher. During high school she discovered that science was her passion. Her grandfather was a science teacher and that was an influence to her as well.
She grew up in Algonquin, IL and has been active in the Lutheran Church throughout her life.
For many summers, she volunteered time to help with Vacation Bible School as well as a church-based theater camp. She has also been on several mission trips to West Virginia, North Carolina, New York, and Louisiana.
In her free time, she enjoys geocaching, baking, hiking, looking for sea glass, reading, and attempting crafts she finds on Pinterest.
In high school, she was involved in cheerleading, track, German club, and band.
As she continued her education at Concordia University Wisconsin she played flute with the pep and concert bands. While she played in these bands, she was blessed with numerous opportunities to serve the Lord in churches throughout the Midwest, Florida, California, Germany, and Austria.
She looks forward to sharing the love of Christ and exploring the miraculous wonders of God’s Creation with the Hope LHS community!
