Military Received Our Gifts- Very Much Appreciated!
Greetings Hope LHS,
Thanks again to the students, staff and families of Hope Lutheran for their generous support through the Christmas season. We have been richly blessed by your gifts and prayers. As we are starting to plan for our redeployment later this coming spring, if there is something we desperately need, we will let you know. For the foreseeable future, we are well resourced with unhealthy, yet quite delicious, snacks. Please share our thanks across the school.
For your viewing enjoyment, please find the attached photos of our troopers, myself, and our seasonal holiday display.
May God's blessings continue to be with you through the remainder of the Christmas season and into the coming new year.
V/R,

Klug Writes Poem
Olivia Klug, Sophomore at Hope LHS has written the following poem:
First dance in the sand is where we began
Falling in love is never what we planned
Many days just you and me
You're all that I'll ever need
You said that I should be still
You told me you had duties to fulfill
The day you went off to war
It's your heart that mine yearned for
Letters sent by the week
Of all the letters I've received
There isn't one that I've thrown away
It's hard, but I take things day by day
And now I haven't heard from you
I wonder what you're going through
I am trying to stay strong
Then I get a call saying you're gone
Then you were standing there
In my dreams saying, "You take care,"
But how am I suppose to be okay
When you're another world away?
